This time of year can and is incredibly difficult for a large amount of us. I understand it can be hard to get through with all of these emotions but it'll be alright, if you have to cry, scream, go for a run, make music, paint. We'll be alright.
Personally I go for long drives, cry and scream as loud as I can until my throat hurts, this is what I ended up doing on the 23th of December around 1:37am because everything became a little overwhelming and eventually I came home and continued to scream into a microphone. Does this make the song any good? no but that's not the point. Was it the best way to deal with it? Probably not but I received kind words from friends who mean a lot to me even if we don't speak often and I hope if you're feeling like shit you can reach out to me. I may not be the best motivational speaker but I care about each and everyone of you deeply. Merry Christmas <3
lyrics
(intro)
we're losing ourselves
we're dying tonight
we're dying tonight
we're dying tonight
(chorus)
we aren't alright
your kids aren't alright
we can't save ourselves
we're losing tonight
we aren't alright
your kids aren't alright
we're losing ourselves
we're dying tonight
(refrain)
we're dying tonight
we're dying tonight
( verse)
just like van Gogh
I feel alone again
just like lil peep
I'm overdosing and
tell me it's all in my head
these fears and these fucking regrets
I'm left out of the place I belong
so I'll reach out to you in this song
I'm a black sheep to these black sheep
yeah I know
I'm a black sheep to these black sheep
yeah I know
I've lost all control
I've lost all control
(chorus X2)
we aren't alright
your kids aren't alright
we can't save ourselves
we're losing tonight
we aren't alright
your kids aren't alright
we're losing ourselves
we're dying tonight
(outro)
But we'll be alright
your kids are just fine
we're saving ourselves
it might take some time
But we'll be alright
your kids are just fine
we're saving ourselves
it might take some time
yeah it might take some time
we might take some time
Most definitely one of my biggest inspirations because they focus more on instrumentation and atmosphere rather than focusing on vocals (even though Justin's vocals are angelic <3 ) b e a u
